Season Premiere Preview Party
Please join us for a season premiere preview cocktail party featuring performances from The Grant Wood Operas: Strokes of Genius, The Threepenny Opera, and The Desert Song, and a discussion with the composers of the original commission. The stained glass window, designed by Grant Wood, will serve as the backdrop for our performers: Wesley Frye, tenor; Benjamin Kawsky, tenor; Jessica Pray Patel, soprano; Chad Sonka, baritone and Tony Nickle, pianist.The event takes place in the beautiful Douglas Mansion, newly renovated home of The History Center.
